New Initiative for Bridging the Talent Gap!
Solving our regional talent gap issues requires identifying ways to educate and upskill local adults. The Longview Chamber of Commerce has been selected to participate in The Graduate! Network’s “Bridging the Talent Gap,” an employer and employee engagement initiative supported with funding from the Trellis Foundation. Bridging the Talent Gap helps a community move the needle on adult education attainment and ensure a skilled workforce in three phases: Assess, Engage, and Drive Results.

Impacting 67 Families Through Raising Highly Capable Kids™ Parenting Class at Ware East Texas Montessori Academy
A total of 67 parents have graduated from the highly acclaimed Raising Highly Capable Kids™ parenting class at Ware East Texas Montessori Academy. Spear-headed by the Longview Chamber of Commerce as part of their partnership with Ware East Texas Montessori Academy, the Chamber will recognize its fifth graduating class of seven parents who have completed the 13-week curriculum on December 10, 2019.
