Eastman Credit Union will soon begin work on a new 3-Story, 33,442 S.F. facility for a lending institution that will be located at 2026 West Loop 281, Longview, Texas.
ECU, along with their general contractor, GCR Construction, will hold a “come and go” meeting on Thursday, February 27, 2020, from 2-6 pm at the offices of the Longview Chamber of Commerce (410 N Center St) to meet with local sub-contractors and construction-related businesses who wish to inquire about being a part of the project.
Related businesses who are members of the Longview Chamber of Commerce are especially encouraged to drop in and meet the people from GCR, but non-members are also welcome to attend.

The Work consists of the construction of a new free-standing 3-Story facility for Eastman Credit Union and Business Center, containing approximately 33,442 total square feet,
1st floor approximately 11,246 sf, 2nd floor approximately 11,098 sf, and the 3rd floor approximately 11,098 sf, and of the same general type and style as existing branch structures within the organization.
The project shall include all site clearing, grading and excavation, erosion control, termite control, concrete paving, parking bumpers, irrigation system, landscaping, water and sewer systems, storm drainage, cast-in-place concrete, drilled belled caisson piers, precast architectural concrete, unit masonry, brick veneer, stone masonry, structural steel framing, steel joist, steel decking, cold formed metal trusses, metal pan stairs, bar gratings, rough carpentry, heavy timber construction, wood decking, sheathing, architectural casework, dampproofing, thermal insulation, EIFS, asphalt shingles, EPDM roofing, sheet metal flashing and trim, roof specialties, snow guards, gutters and downspouts, firestopping, joint sealants, caulking, hollow metal doors and frames, flush wood doors, aluminum framed entrances and storefronts, aluminum windows, door hardware, glazing, louvers and vents, gypsum board assemblies, tiling, acoustical ceilings, resilient tile and base, tile carpeting, painting, specialty items, toilet accessories, fire extinguishers, flag poles, bird control devices, commercial appliances, banking equipment and vault (by owner), hydraulic elevators, fire protection, plumbing, mechanical, and electrical work as required to provide a fully functional facility at the time of Substantial Completion.
