Annual Banquet
The Annual Banquet is the Longview Chamber’s premiere business event. It brings together top business and community leaders to celebrate the vibrancy of our trade area. At the banquet the gavel is passed to the new Chairman of the Board and the new Board of Directors is announced.

Join us for an evening of distinction at the Longview Chamber of Commerce Annual Banquet 2024, themed “Champions of Business.” Esteemed speakers Sara Armstrong, Vice President of Federation Relations and Grassroots Advocacy at the US Chamber of Commerce, and Glenn Hamer, President and CEO of the Texas Association of Business, will share profound insights on business, advocacy, and community engagement. This formal affair on January 30th, 2024, at Maude Cobb Convention Center from 5-8 pm, includes the symbolic transfer of leadership as the gavel is passed to the new Chairman of the Board, accompanied by the announcement of the Board of Directors. Celebrate the success of our honorees – AAON Coil, Austin Bank, and Mobberly Baptist Church – true “Champions of Business.” Secure your attendance for this prestigious event below. Small Business Solutions Luncheon and Awards
The Small Business Awards recognizes remarkable small businesses in the Longview trade area. The award winners demonstrates success through sales and profit, potential for long-term success, their commitment to the community along with several others measurements. The award winners set a great example for other small business in the community through their achievements and contributions to the community. The annual awards are held in May.
The small Business Solutions Luncheon brings the business community together in one location on one day for collaboration opportunities. This summit also features power networking sessions, Small Business Awards, the Leadership Longview Graduation.
Ribbon Cuttings
New member businesses enjoy the opportunity for a Chamber ribbon cutting
during their first year of membership! These require at least two weeks’ notice for scheduling participants and they are typically slated for 11:30 a.m. or 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, at the business location or the Chamber building. R.E.A.C.H. Team members attend and facilitate the program including photos and social media posting, official letter from the City Mayor, an official membership plaque for display, and the ceremonial ribbon cutting. State of Series
The State of Series is a series of luncheons held for community leaders and business professionals as they examine the state of the city, county, education, and economy, look at the challenges they face, and encourage future endeavors. The luncheons are throughout the year and each has its own speakers and agenda. See when they are and register through our calendar.
The Chamber Fall and Spring Classic
The Chamber Classic is our twice annual golf tournament that marks a celebration of years of community support, honor, spirit, competition, friendships, and charity. The field of 100 golfers is made up of some of the most influential members of the local business community, as well as dignitaries from the surrounding area.
The tournament is also embraced by local golf enthusiasts. A casual atmosphere, a fun and relaxed awards ceremony, additional entertainment and players of varying abilities has kept many individuals and businesses returning year after year.
Business After Hours
Business After Hours is a monthly late afternoon reception. It’s a time for fun, food, and networking with other business professionals in the Chamber.
Business After Hours is highly regarded in Longview and Gregg County for providing opportunities for businesses to come together and visit with one another in a relaxed environment. It’s a great way to get to know people who will begin to associate you with your brand and the quality you provide.
Elected Officials Reception
One of the objectives of the Longview Chamber of Commerce is to recognize our elected officials for the hard work and personal time they put into creating a better Longview community. This is done through the Elected Official’s Reception. This event for Chamber members connects business leaders to political leaders, providing the opportunity to discuss policy issues that benefit the business community. These collaborations empower leaders to build a better future.
Chamber members will enjoy a late afternoon of conversations with a side of hearty hors d’oeuvres. This is a relaxed afternoon, recognizing our elected officials’ hard work and support of the initiatives that benefit the local business community.
The 40 Under 40 Network
The 40 Under 40 Network is the premier organization for professionals under the age of 40 who are interested in advancing their careers, filling leadership roles in the community, and building relationships with other business leaders. Members will be sought out for openings on local boards and commissions and are routinely recognized in area publications for their professional and philanthropic efforts. The 40 Under 40 Network will truly become the area’s driving force when it comes to equipping young professionals with the resources for long-term success.
